Bainbridge Island, Washington is a dream getaway location. The island is the embodiment of comfort, ease, style, luxury, and wealth. It is so wealthy, that even crowded with people, it is silent. It is a beautiful island, tranquil and serene, ripe for a quiet weekend away for two. To be honest, the only reason I went to Bainbridge Island is because I wanted to take the ferry. I was not entirely interested or convinced about the island itself, but when I arrived there and I walked along the waterfront, I was taken by the beauty and charm of the place. it is quiet and unassuming with beautiful houses, doll houses, Ken and Barbie houses. The island makes you want to play house with a beautiful person. Taking the boat for ride, walking the parks, going grocery shopping in what appeared to be the only supermarket on the island. A beautiful supermarket. Yes, in Bainbridge Island, even the supermarket is super cute. There are plenty of shops that sell trinkets, but you won’t need much out there, just handsome company and lots of Champagne. The island even has its own free entrance museum. The reception at the museum was not all that friendly, but the art was interesting. The museum was my last stop on my way back to the Seattle since the Bainbridge outing was really a day trip. It was wonderful, and I hope next time I go to the island, I will be in the company of a handsome someone.
