Hemel en Aarde, Hermanus Part 2

As I shared in the Part 1 blog post about Hemel en Aarde, it’s really a magical place that is good for relaxation surrounded by nature, wine tasting, and fun for a little getaway from the city. On one of the days, after we had done the wine tasting, we headed back to the cottage that we were renting for a sunset drink at the beach. In the refrigerator, there was a chilled bottle of Champagne, and this went nicely with the beach scenery in Hermanus.

We were in Hermanus in February, so the holidaymakers were long gone. The town was not mad with traffic as in the height of the festive season. This also meant the beaches were empty, so we could relax and basically have the beach all to ourselves. It was a sweet sunset moment. We obviously took advantage of the beauty of the sunset to take some pictures. I was excited because I was wearing my favourite jacket I bought at the start of summer. I paired it with my ‘French Riviera’ salmon pants. I have had these for a minute now but I love them so much. I wanted to look like summer while in Hermanus, and I think it worked. Here are some of the shots from that afternoon.
