In this shoot, I was working with a photographer to get pictures in a bedroom setting. It was during the period of my blue hair, and I wanted to take pictures all the time. During this shoot we took many photographs, but only two similar ones we’re good. Out of all the takes, only two were decent. The rest weren’t good at all. This was a good lesson for us as amateur photographer and subject, that a whole days work of photography can produce one or no good image. This can be attributed to all kinds of factors, from lighting issues, fatigue, unresponsive subject, unprofessionalism, wrong fashions, imperfect accessories or props, etc. The two similar images from that session are amongst my favourite of all time. There is something ephemeral, gender bending, and just downright beautiful about them. A blue moment in time. What do you think?
