Sea, Sun, and Seashells in Britannia Bay

One of the great things about living in Cape Town is that you an hour or two away from a quiet vacation town. Leaving the city for a quiet seaside holiday doesn’t require much debate, just a group of friends and a reservation in advance. Last year I spent the part of the summer in Britannia Bay. A perfect seaside town on the West Coast, complete with the perfect turquoise waters, seals and dolphins, and the most perfect sunset. I am usually partial to the East Coast, the waters are warm, and I am after all from Port Elizabeth, so the I am well versed with East Coast. The West Coat was wonderful and refreshing. Naturally, I had to take advantage of the wonderful light and the ocean background for a coupe of photographs. Pierre was on hand to take these snaps which exhibit the beauty and calm of the seaside town of Britannia Bay. Of course, when one goes on holiday, one must pack all the appropriate fashions. My H&M shorts and black T paired with rugby socks and All Stars was just the perfect uniform. These pictures was me fooling around on holiday …. so much fun this holiday was.
