The You-21 brand belongs to a young, up and coming designer and stylist, Njabulo Nxumalo, also known as “CJ” by those close to him. He can be reached via Instagram and via email, @ njabulonxu123@gmail.com. I was intrigued by the design of the outside pockets of the mustard pants and I had to get my hands on them. I like the fun and frivolous aspects of the pants, but you could also dress them up. For the look in the images I share here, I thought maybe simple and unfussy would be best, so I paired the pants with a crisp white shirt and some beaded accessories for the neck and the arm. CJ lives and creates in Johannesburg and I look forward to see more of his talent through his creations in the future.
