Summer in Cape Town is magical. One of my favourite things to do in the summer in the city is to go to the beach. Clifton 3rd Beach is the best place to be in the summer. It is the unofficial gay beach. It has the best location. The best times to go is in the early afternoon and stay until sunset. Some of us love the beach so much that we can stay there talking and drinking for hours. It is also the perfect place to people watch. Also, there are plenty of foreigners to keep it interesting. My good friend Lungi is often my beach partner. She often indulges me by taking my pictures at the beach. This time though, Siyamthanda took the pictures at sunset in Clifton Beach. It was just before the sun went down on the edges f the ocean. When the light creates all kinds of golden hues, orange hues, and blood reds that look amazing against black skin. I really enjoyed taking these pictures with Siya. She has an interesting eye.
